The renowned Than Tho Lake in Da Lat is being developed into Vietnam’s largest light-themed park.

On January 10, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Lam Dong Province announced that the scenic Than Tho Lake is undergoing investment to transform into Delight Park Da Lat, an artistic light and flower-themed entertainment park.

The first and main phase of the project—the flower and light park—will be launched in time for the Lunar New Year. This is among the first projects contributing to Da Lat’s nighttime economy.

According to Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Marketing and Business Director of Delight Park Da Lat, daytime sightseeing activities at Than Tho Lake will continue as usual. However, at night, the area surrounding the lake and a 39-hectare pine forest will be transformed into a mesmerizing light park.

"Our nighttime tour is named Van Hoa Tien Canh (Thousand Flowers Fairyland). It will feature the familiar landscape of flowers, pine forests, and the lake, but enhanced with cutting-edge lighting technology to create breathtaking visuals," said Mr. Tuan Anh.

He added that with the Delight Park Da Lat project, Than Tho Lake will become Vietnam’s largest light park, offering a unique and magical experience.
